CANTERBURY COURTS ANNUAL AWARDS BANQUET

Past 'Resident of the Year' Maxine congratulates 2013 'Resident of the Year' Tillie! Well done Gals!

Past ‘Resident of the Year’ Maxine congratulates 2013 ‘Resident of the Year’ Tillie! Well done Gals! A little note from our Former Resident, Maxine. “Prior to coming to Canterbury Court, I have always enjoyed a very full and rewarding life. SInce settling in, I find at times my life is so full and enjoyable that my family joke about needing an appointment to see me! While family is always of first importance to me, it’s time to turn the page and do what we enjoy, whether itls together or independently. While I love impromptu family shopping trips or lunch dates out on the town, I do encourage them to relax, knowing that I am enjoying life so much and am safe and secure. How great it is knowing my family and friends are welcome here at Canterbury Court for meals, coffee on the patio or drinks and entertainment in the lounge. It’s a perfect blend for me!

Making Marble Paper Card in Craft Class

Take a piece of wax paper, a bit of shaving cream (yes…shaving cream!), a bit of paint and swirl it all together. Place a piece of paper on top, lift, scrape away the excess, and voila…marbled paper! Lots of “ooohs” and “ahhhs” with this craft!
